.........................Food industry "Prehrana" Gradiska appeared as a legal follower of "Levita" Gradiska, which was divided into two legal subjects and stockholders companies in June 2004:

- Meat industry "Levita" and
- Food industry "Prehrana ".

Since 2007 business has been controlled by " Ranchy " company.
"Ranchy " is a big manufacturing enterprise with productive ability, technical equipment, technology of work and assortment of production. It has two productive sections on disposal : Section of extracted products and Section of processing and wrapping. Yearly, approximately 10 000 tons of different and high-quality products can be manufactured. Comparing to the competition capacity in ex-Yugoslavia, "Ranchy" is specific and unique by its manufacturing programme, assortment and technical abilities which are results of 40 years of work and action. As for the manufacturing programme, there are 60 products which are lined up in eight groups..

The enterprise possesses technical lines with next abilities :

- toasting, grinding and wrapping coffee
- manufacturing of extracted products as the lines of the third phase of agricultural products being industrial processed (since 1990)
- manufacturing of wafers
- grinding, mixing and manufacturing of more complex products such as pudding, whipped cream, meal additions etc.
- packaging of granular and powder products
- dissolving and packaging of honey

.......................There are several top-quality products in the structure of assortment, which were recognizable on the market of coffee, wafers, "Levita" spice, pudding, whipped cream and products from "Avena" programme which are based on oats cereal. Lately, there are extracted products that have corn groats base such as Starky with toasted peanuts, Pahuljica with cocoa, then Starky and Hrsko as the unique products on the market. Some of these products are classified in the Programme of healthy food with very convenient characteristics of values, health regulations and safety.

.......................Series of development and existence of "Prehrana" (over 40 years) can be divided into four stages : I until 1974,  II from 1974 to 1982,  III from 1982 to 1992,  IV from 1992 until today. A modern factory for manufacturing of food products was built in 1974.

.......................In that phase of the series, very significant business results were achieved with an annual production of 5-7 tons of products and the enterprise was on the top of its activity in ex - Yugoslavia. In 1982, "Prehrana" entered the structure of "Levita" with "Klaonica" and "Hladnjaca" (with 330 workers). Until 1991(when the war began) "Levita" had an important progress with an annual production of 25 000 tons of products with 100 different products. 880 workers achieved those results.

......................In 2006 business activity of the enterprise started with providing all the necessary conditions for the enterprise to have the previous business success. Our aim is to insure long-term satisfaction of consumers by cherishing the long-term tradition and top-quality of our products, preserving health, security and protection of the environment and to get acknowledgement as the leading enterprise in the region.
